Royal Australasian College of Surgeons

The Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Peripheral Endovascular Therapy
The Conjoint Committee is constituted by three parent bodies, the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). The parent bodies have delegated to the Conjoint Committee powers to formulate trainingguidelines in Peripheral Endovascular Therapy and to assess the training of persons seeking recognition of their training in this area.
ASERNIP-S
The Australian Safety and Efficiency Register of New Interventional Procedures – Surgical (ASERNIP-S) is a programme of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). The ASERNIP-S mission is to provide quality and timely assessments of new and emerging surgical technologies and techniques. Services provided include systematic and accelerated systematic reviews of the peer-reviewed literature, the establishment and facilitation of clinical and research audits or trials, the identification and assessment of new and emerging techniques and technologies by horizon scanning, and the production of clinical practice guidelines.
