Registration and Timelines

Applicants intending to apply for selection into the Surgical Education and Training Program must register via the College website. Applicants not registered will not be able to lodge an application. Application Process and Overview

Applications open for those who have registered on the 26 February 2020 at Registered applicants will receive a log on and password from the office of the ANZSVS prior to the 26 February 2020.

The selection process uses three selection tools, each contributing a weighted score as:

Structured Curriculum Vitae 25%
Structured Referee Reports 35%
Semi-Structured Interview 40%


Interviews will be offered on a ratio of three (3) applicants to one (1) available accredited SET 1 post. Applicants will be invited to interview based on ranked order of the combined CV and referee report score. Interviews will be held on Saturday, 20 June 2020 in Brisbane. Applicants will receive an invite to interview by the 5 June 2020.
